Excel 14

Get a load of this! I’m presuming that this is a beta version of Excel 2010 (or Excel 14, if you like). I can’t see this video staying public for long.

But check out what they’re doing. A search in Google for KINGSOFT OFFICE 2010 finds their website where they are apparently selling Office 2010. OK, I think I know what’s going on here, although it’s difficult because the text is in Japanese. I get the impression that Kingsoft are a software company that publish a suite of office applications that can work with standard .docx, .xlsx etc documents. A bit like Open Office. I’m guessing that their new version is coincidentally called Office 2010.

Now it could be that their product really is called Office 2010. Or it could be that they are being sneaky and are hoping to cash in on all the Google searches for Office 2010 that will no doubt be performed by credit card waving consumers.
